The full flavour of grass fed beef
Macbeth’s feather steaks are cut from the shoulder and are fantastic for braising or slow cookings. They have a deep marble through the meat giving these steaks a deep beefy flavour.
This is a very interesting steak. Whilst cooking it doubles in size. Heat a frying pan (middle heat) add butter. Wash the steak and cover with salt, black pepper and garlic salt Turn heat down and fry steak for 10mins (5mins each side You can cook for longer if you like your steak less bloody. Serve with peas and chips
I casseroled this with root vegetables and home made stock. It was deliciously tender and flavoursome.
I maianated two steaks overnight in Indian spices then cooked them in the slow cooker, what a treat.
Beautiful steak for slow cooking-does not shrink-just bought first lot-casseroled with beer/stock-flavour second to none-would definitely buy again-SOON!

i put on a bed of root veg in slow cooker with a small glass of red wine , oh my delicious 🙂
First time trying these, but I won’t be buying these again, found them very fatty all the way through even being slow cooked, 4 of us for dinner and none of us enjoyed it.
I am sorry that you did not enjoy these and thank you for letting me know. I have emailed you about it.

Tried this cut for the 1st time. After slow stewing the beef was delicious and tender and very tasty. 🙂
