Amazing tender steaks, yum!!
Wow! These are a MUST. So delicious.. we couldn’t get over how amazing these were. Tender and succulent. Amazing!
So tender, melt in your mouth. Eat ‘blue’, just seal on both sides in hot butter. Absolutely delicious.
Never disappointed by the meat from Macbeth’s. So mouth watering tender, best fillet steak I have had. Will definitely be on my shopping list again.
Fabulous steaks – agree with the other reviews, melt in the mouth, tender. Delicious.
The absolute best steak, don’t muck about with it just enjoy 🙂
I always think a fillet steak needs a sauce because it does not have the flavour of a rib eye or sirloin. However I was proved wrong with the fillet steak I purchased recently: beautiful flavour, simply pan fried in butter, no sauce necessary. So tender as well , Will definitely reorder.
Absolutely amazing flavour and tenderness. Not my first mail order steaks from Scotland but most definitely the best! Perfect for rare pan frying!
Best steak – tender, fantastic flavour, serve ‘blue’ otherwise it’s ruined!
These were the lead item in our first trial order. The order came overnight on schedule in a large polystyrene box (with ice pack) arriving around 11:00 am – not bad from one end of the country (Forres) to the other (Devon). The only downside being disposal of the packaging but I don’t know if there are effective “greener” alternatives. So can’t fault the delivery service.
I ordered the 6 oz ones which turned out to be a very generous 6 ozs and plenty big enough for most appetites. The steaks are quite thick and I flattened them very slightly before cooking in a cast iron griddle pan for around 8 minutes (alternating 2 mins a side). You can’t really go wrong with fillet steaks but these are top of the range and highly recommended. Full marks – Huntsham.
Beautifully tender and succulent. Just melts in your mouth. Seared each side on very hot griddle, then turned heat down and cooked until medium rare and seved them traditionally with a knob of garlic butter. Superb. Well done MacBeth’s great service, great meat everytime
It’s been a while since I’ve had fillet steak this good. Absolutely delicious and I won’t wait so long for the next order.
