Silverside is the most humble of the roasting joints, but one of the most delicious, and is often used as a slow cooking joint. At Macbeth’s we hang our hind quarter joints for an absolute minimum of three weeks and quite often it is over four resulting in a more tender and flavoursome silverside joint than most.

Beautiful joint at a very reasonable price, have never been let down by one of these joints. I always buy one larger than needed for just Sunday then we can have a couple of meals from it plus some delicious sandwiches, plus of course a slice each for the dogs (they love it)
