A delicious yet much maligned cut, shin of beef when cooked slowly, tastes simply fantastic. Slow cook in a stew and this makes a fantastic yet economical winter warmer.
An under appreciated cut of beef. Very nice when cooked slow and long with a few root vegetables and a little splash of red wine.

Good flavour but needs at least 4 hours cooking time. Fair amount of gristle too which children don’t like although our cat loves it.

Absolutely superb when cooked slow and low for 4-5 hours. Excellent product. Would recommend to any good stew lover 🙂

Very tasty and tender cut of beef. Ordered 1 pack and cooked slow for at least 4 hours with root veg, which resulted in succulent, juicy and tender pieces of meat. Will order this cut again 🙂
