Release the flavour by slow roasting
Traditionally at Macbeth’s we used pork belly for making sausages. However in recent years it has become a delicacy in its own right. Ideal for slow roasting, this cut is packed full of flavour. It is certainly not the leanest of cuts but cannot be beaten as a rare treat. Supplied with the rind on and bone in.
Great flavour, lovely crackling prefer this to loin as it more flavoursome. Will get again

Had the belly pork for Christmas dinner. What a revelation….
Scored the rind into little squares and poured boiling water over rind just before placing in oven. Cooked for over 3hrs. It was delicious with the crackling both crunchy but also melted in the mouth. Never had belly pork like this before – will buy again for Easter.
