Macbeth’s Lorne sausage is really popular. Also known as square sausage this is the Traditional Scottish Sausage. Essential for cooked breakfasts and fantastic in a roll! Made using Scotch Beef from our own farm and supplied fresh.
Description
Macbeth’s classic Lorne sausage – a traditional scottish square sausage. Essential for cooked breakfasts or in a breakfast roll. The recipe is the same as that of our beef sausage and shaped using a bread loaf pan!! This means it is a larger slice than most that are produced – well you wouldn’t want it any smaller?! It is available as slices or in blocks but please note the blocks of lorne are not sliced unless by request.
Ingredients: 67% Beef, Rusk (wheat flour, salt), Wheat Flour, Salt, Flavour Enhancer E621, Dextrose, Stabilisers E450, Preservative Sodium Sulphite, Antioxidant E301 & E331, Spice Extracts, Colour E120, Herb Extract (Thyme)

Had to follow up to my first order, I have now bought another kilo all for me!, just love them, a bit fattening so I cut down on other foods. Have bought some burgers to try [usually I order from Donald Russell] and steaks will be my next try, I am sure they will be great too.

Purchased this product for the first time as i live in the south of England and you cannot get square sausage down here. I must say this product tastes amazing, best square sausage i have ever purchased.
Also delivery was within two days of purchasing and the produst arrived in a cool cainter and was very fresh. Will order again!!!

living in Coventry its almost impossible to find a good lorne sausage and those supermarket pack of 10 stuff well i just stay clear of them so googled and Macbeths came up first with great reviews. always a bit wary with prefect reviews but gave it a go . ordered the 2kg block arrived right when said it would in prefect condition . cut into 4 big blocks 3 for freezer and one for now .cut 2 slices for breakfast and it was heaven to have that real taste again don’t think that first block will last the week as intended. certainly understand and agree with the perfect review score now and will go know else for my lorne from now on
