Description
Macbeth’s rolled wild venison saddle is the prime roasting joint. It has a gamey flavour which is milder than some other venison cuts and it just melts in the mouth. Best cooked rare to realise the full flavour and succulence of this fantastic roasting cut. Rolled venison saddle is ideal for small gatherings and we find is best cooked rare to medium rare. All of our venison is wild and sourced from local estates.

Having been given a Rolled Venison Saddle joint last Christmas which was superb, we decided to place an order with MacBeth’s which included another Rolled Venison Saddle. This more than lived up to expectations, and apart from being tender and so delicious it was economic to use. We will certainly use it again.

I recently purchased a rolled venison saddle which I cooked medium rare in my sous vide. It had a lovely flavour and was tender and moist. It was certainly the best venison joint I have ever purchased. I will be ordering more!
