There is a new breed of Haggis at Macbeth’s – this haggis is made with no gluten containing ingredients. It is still made using our fantastic recipe with some tweaks and is put into a natural casing. Our Gluten Free Haggis comes in a variety of sizes.
Ingredients: Liver, Heart, Lamb, Onions, Suet, Textured Soy Protein (Soya beans) Rice Flour, Dehydrated Onions, Salt, Spices

Well, my order for 2 x 750gm GF Haggis seemed to have been handled well apart from when I opened the box and found 1 x 2kg GF Haggis to have been delivered.
As one was for my GF wife and I to try with the other one intended as a New Year’s Eve gift for friends, a 2kg GF Giant Haggis, this is a poor result.
The response from Doug was:
“Firstly may I apologise for this error.
I have spoken with the team and unfortunately we are currently out of stock
of the 750g Gluten Free Haggis and the butcher therefore thought he was
using his initiative to send a 2kg stick.
He should have told me so we could have phoned you to see if this was OK but
he did not.
I know it is small consolation but the 2kg is £18.25 but you were only
charged £17.00 plus delivery.
It is possible to slice a freeze part of the stick, if that is an option for
you.
Once again I apologise that we did not match your expectations but the
butcher was working to his best intentions but neglected to tell me to let
you know the situation.”
I considered this to be a poor response from Macbeths………………..
Will post comments again when we find enough people to share it with – it looks very authentic though so can’t wait to eat some!

Thank you for sending me the delicious glutenless haggis. It really was the best I’ve ever tasted.
We ordered the 2kg one, decided to freeze half and eat the other half. Order was delivered well and on time.

I received a 2KG gluten free haggis promptly and reassuringly well packed. The texture was slightly different to normal haggis but I told no-one and it fed 8 carnivores well, with many ensuing compliments.
Smart service, good food and a reasonable price. That will do me!

Ordered the 750 g gluten free haggis to try as we love haggis. The texture of this one was different to our usual but we loved the spicy taste. The quality of the filling was good This size would easily feed 4 hungry haggis eaters 🙂

Bought a couple of gluten-free baby haggises and husband and I had one each with swede and leeks. We were virgin haggis eaters and we loved loved loved them. Just ordered more.
It might be sacrilegious, but what about gluten-free haggis sausages ?
