Description
Macbeth’s Award Winning Black Pudding is a product we are very proud of. Used by Michelin Star restaurants up and down the country, it is a must for any breakfast. It is also well suited to accompanying scallops or going in salads. It is supplied as a whole stick which you can slice yourself or as slices.
Ingredients: Beef fat, Water, Oatmeal, Barley, Dried Blood, Black Pudding Seasoning (Salt Spices, Barley Flour, Protein E500 (Soya), Onions, Pepper.

My partner and I decided to treat ourselves for breakfast one morning and went for black pudding along with venison sausages in a roll, both products from MacBeths. Honestly, we were extremely impressed (and went for seconds!). The quality of the black pudding and venison sausages was superb, and combined together, tasted delicious. We would highly recommend both products!

Reasonable black pudding but tries too hard to be special by adding too many extra ingredients – I would prefer more blood which would also improve the texture which was rather dry

As a Scot living in the North West of England, I have found it impossible to find black pudding without “bits” of barley, suet and fat. So its nice to enjoy good old Scottish black pudding with full flavour. One observation rather than complaint, if I may is that your sliced pudding is too generous in thickness and I prefer to order a stick and slice by myself.
