Scotland is almost as well know for its lamb as its beef and the Moray hill farms have a great reputation for their naturally reared Scotch Lamb. The majority of our lamb comes from a farm outside Grantown, Loch Gorm, which has supplied us for many years.
Given our location “new season’s” lamb is not usually available until July, but the quality is then excellent right up until the New Year. Between January and June, the meat tends to have a stronger flavour more akin to mutton and we find that this appeals to many of our customers.
