Wowee - we have just found out that 4 of our products have won awards at the Great Taste Awards. We won a gold star apiece for our dry cure bacon and our 3 week hung rump steak and we got 2 gold stars for both our 3 week hung rib eye steak and our pork sausage.
Needless to say we are really chuffed at this and still taking it in. In total we entered 6 products - the two that didn't win anything were our mealy pudding and frankly I can't remember what the other product was but we are looking forward to getting the tasting notes back to see how we can improve them.
Last year we won a gold star for our 3 week hung sirloin steak, black pudding and haggis so it is terrific to be able to build on last years successes.
