Its that time again - silage making!!! Machinery that only get used for a couple of months a year is dusted off, connected up to a tractor (which gets used a bit more often) and sent off in to a field with a quick prayer that all is still working and that the weather is going to hold. Well the machinery is still working - we have a little control over that, but predictably the weather has gone against us. So just as quickly as we started, we have to stop. However we have finished one of the bigger fields and got an amazing crop out of it so all is well on that front - we just need to get going again...
